  • 课程重点：
    强化英语​​课程（IEP）是一个确保国际学生为进入本科/大学或者研究生学位课程时，所必需的英语和大学水平能力的校园学术课程 - 不论是选择进入 WMU  或是任何其他的美国大学或学院就读。

    课程目标，受益：
    学业和非学业生可以申请此课程。

    课程设置：
    CELSIUS 课程帮助学生进入美国学院和大学学习，并帮助专业人士提高工作的英语能力。
    从入门，初级，中级，中级到高级和进阶：学生可以有五个级别的课程。每个级别一个星期有四个小时，周一到週五上课。毎个级别分为四个课程。口语和听力每天一小时，阅读和写作每天两小时，语法与沟通每天一小时。口语/听力和语法/通讯课程将进行一整个学期，读/写（第 1 和第 2 班）班一次将进行七个星期。全时段的学生每週有 20 小时的课程。

夏可蘭

這次參家密集英語課程後，關於西密西根大學的環境部分特別想跟大家分享一下!!!
環境:人口約22萬左右的小鎮,華人人口相對美國其他地區低很多!若下定決心想學英文此地是很好的選擇!夏天早晚溫差大可攜一件長袖薄外套。
交通:交通方面較為不便,附近沒有地鐵站僅有火車站及公車或taxi!公車禮拜日停駛。如果需要下廚或添購用品須儘早。在這裡沒有車其實蠻不方便的,遊學前建議可以先上FB與西密西根台灣同學會的人連絡,大家會熱情告訴你該注意的地方及遊覽校園(當然也有免費司機載你購物)。
學校:綠樹環繞設施完善,圖書館除特定價日外都會開放!語校的老師都十分熱情教學也相當活潑!會依不同級別指導如何獨立撰寫paper非常受用。
宿舍:兩人一間房,兩房共用一間衛浴!宿舍空間寬敞!附有獨立單人床,書桌及衣櫃!可無線上網,須先下載學校的防毒軟體,並自備網路線!宿舍地下室有洗衣機與烘衣機。
課外活動:學校每個禮拜會有1~2次不等的課外活動,若想獨自遊覽可以去市中心(公車終點站即是)或搭火車前往芝加哥。
